Just think we could have had Luke and jvr at the same time, then we really would have won that trade.
I like him but he is a top 5 pick bust. Tough kid but just cannot keep up with the speed of the NHL game today. Shame..... he would have been a top 4 d-man in the early 90's. Now d-man are getting smaller and smaller.
He's suited for the west, where they still play hockey.

He is barely in the NHL. He just signed a one year, 800k salary contrt. The league interest is saying that he may better suited for the AHL.
Signed a NHL contract, will play in the NHL. Which is pretty good, since you are correct - the league has changed to a smaller faster pussified version of soccer on skates. Good for him.
As for not being a NHLer. He's already played in the league for 10 years - if you can believe that. 700+ games. Time flies.
