Thread: If Couturier keeps current pace - he could move up to 6th in his draft class in scoring. this year.

    Developed or utilized the right way? He has been put in every position to succeed and until this season he has not lived up to expectations. Glad to see he is having a good season but Giroux should still be the #1 center and Coots at the #2 if he can handle it.

    I am not a Couturier fan by any means, but switching Giroux to wing was a great move. He still takes the majority of the faceoffs, but he doesn't have the defensive responsibility to play a 200 ft game. The move to wing puts him in the position to lead the rush, and keeps him away from the get dirty areas of the defensive zone. Couturier seems to be thriving in the 1c, so if it aint broke, don't fix it
