The Flyers are going to score more goals than last year thread

So far the Flyers are tied with last season through 4 games They were 1-2-1 at this point last year. They are 2-2 this year.

At this point last season the Flyers had yet to be shutout. They have been shutout once this year. To keep pace with last season the Flyers need to score a total of 7 Goals over the next 2 games.

huh? they've scored 13 goals in 4 games...3.25/game...last year they scored 212 goals in 82 games which is 2.58/game. They are essentially 2/3 goal/game ahead of last years pace even with a shutout. All that being said it's 4 games into the season....there's a lot of hockey to be played.

You have a horrendous reading issue.

    Goals Scored in the first 4 games last season. 4, 3, 4, 2. = 13
    Goals Scored in the first 4 games this season. 5, 0, 3, 5. = 13

when you're evaluating season/season game by game is irrelevant....were they playing good teams? bad teams? on the road? at home? things tend balance out over the course of the year.

they started on the road last year and out west. I can start whatever threads I want, thank you for your concern.

The Flyers need to score 7 goals in the next 2 games to keep pace.

The Flyers goal scoring in the first half of last season was much better than the 2nd half. Unless the Flyers follow the same pattern of scoring more in the first half compared to the 2nd half, this kind of comparison holds no value.

Flyers are like 1000% more watchable this year, though. That loss last night was rough and Hakstol probably needs to not challenge the offside on a play that close, but the players themselves never quit. Was fun to watch.

they've had a tough 4 game trip and were in every game to the end...they've been excellent in the 3rd in all their games....they just got bit with some bad calls, dumb plays, bad decisions in the waning minutes of last nights game. The speed, the breakout, the defense's involvement in the play have all been much better.

I really look forward to you maintaining this game by game comparison during the 2 month stretch last season the Flyers averaged something like 1.7 goals per game.
