In their prime - Pick one. Michal Handzus or Sean Couturier

Handzus was able to crack 40 points 7 times and 2 seasons over 50 points. By age 25 Handzus had cracked 40 points 3 times. Including a 50 point season. He was not the most graceful hockey player I have ever seen. He was widely regarded as a great 2 way player and finished second in the Selke voting once.

Sean Couturier is all the sudden entering his 7th NHL season, and if he is not in his prime right now, he should be entering it as he turns 25 this year. Like Handzus, Couturier is widely regarded as a great 2 way player. With the caveat being, that he has yet to produce offensively at a level commiserate with a Selke finalist. He has yet to crack 40 points. Also like Handzus, he does not look very graceful out on the ice.

If you had Hanzus at age 25 and Couturier at age 25 and they were under the same contract, who would you select for your team.

Part 2 of this post. These are the trades Handzus was involved in

Handzuš was traded on 13 March 2001, along with Ladislav Nagy, Jeff Taffe and two first-round draft picks, to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for Keith Tkachuk. Handzuš then spent two seasons with Phoenix.
On 12 June 2002, Handzuš was traded along with Robert Esche to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Brian Boucher and a third-round draft pick.
On 4 August 2006, Handzuš was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Kyle Calder.[3]

Please take note of the trades. Hanzus was involved in one major trade, but he was just a small part. The rest of the trades, well - we all know.
